A grand welcome to the monsoon!!!
ए पवन ठहर जा जरा,
बरसने दे बादलों को इतराके,
रिमझीम बरखा जो बरसे,
सोंधी सोंधी मिटटी की खुशबु महके,
इंतजार में जिसके हर प्राणी था तरसे,
आने की आहट से उसके, हर घर आंगन महके,
आई पहली बारिश झूम के,

I am very much sure that after this hot and humid climate we all have been
eagerly waiting for the monsoon to soak the city. Experience of the pleasant climate,
the fragrance of the baked soil getting soaked in the 1st shower, will surely
refresh our mind, body and soul. From walking in the rain till experiencing
the soothing raindrops rolling down the cheeks. From watching the kids playing
in the puddles, till a few seeking shelter, in whatever available sheds and avoiding
getting drenched in the unprepared moments of sudden shower.
All this and much more in this much awaited so-called rainy season.

Let's move on to style now...
How does one style in the monsoon?
It may sound weird though. Yet let me tell you, Yes You!
You can dress up really well even in rainy days.
So do check your wardrobe for monsoon wear clothes.

Here is few guidelines for my fashionistas followers...

Color palette:
Wear bright, neon , aqua marine colors.
This will keep you energetic in monsoon.

Style:
Short pant:
You can always pair up printed shirts, crop or sleeveless tops with plain short pants.

Skirts:
Short skirts or knee length skirt with bright color is good option which you pair up
with small print shirt, crop tops or T- shirts.

Knee length one piece/ frocks:
Knee length frocks and one piece with bell sleeves, cold shoulder or sleeveless, with
floral print is style you can carry during monsoon.

Culottes jump suit and pant:
Wear printed crop, halter neck or off shoulder tops with culottes pant or jump suits, you
can also wear it as an office wear.

Print:
Checks, strips, polka dots and small floral print are in trend.

Fabrics:
Cotton, synthetic, chiffon these are fabric which can dry quickly in rainy days.
